The drama of Alicia Navarro, 18, continues to in a whole new twist.
Not long after appearing out of nowhere, she has picked up and moved on.
The Arizona teen who has been declared missing for four years turned up in Montana in July 2023. Navarro walked into a police station in Havre, Montana on July 23, 2023, and told the police that she no longer wanted to be declared missing because she wanted a driver’s license.
Not long after that, Navarro took off with Eddy Davis, 36, who worked at the local Walmart store. The once-missing teen was seen with Davis being helped by Davis’s relatives packing their belongings. She got into a car with Davis and once again vanished.
“Alicia is an adult, so it will be her decision as to whether or not she remains in Montana, returns to Arizona, or goes elsewhere, regardless of the investigation,” said Gina Winn, a spokesman for Havre police.
Navarro told police that “no one hurt” her however, police and federal officials are still looking into her disappearance.
On July 23, 2023, the FBI raided the Montana home where she had been living and there reports she “hung her head and cried.”
“They went in with arms and body armor. Like they went in really aggressively, apparently. So all I knew, (an officer) eventually came up while I was talking to my neighbors. One of the guys that was supposedly undercover told me he was up here from Arizona,” Jonathan Michaelson who lived next door to Navarro reported to KRTV.
Navarro has reunited with her mother before leaving with Davis. In a emotional plea Jessica Nunez has asked the public to “move on.”
“I have been harassed, my family has been attacked all over the Internet — the public has gone from trying to help Alicia to doing things like trying to show up to her house and putting her safety in jeopardy,” Nuñez claimed.
“So I beg you, please no more TikToks, no more reaching out to Alicia or me with your speculation or questions or assumptions. This is not a movie, this is our life, this is my daughter.”
Authorities are still investigating Navarro’s case trying to figure out how she ended up in Montana. Now that she’s allegedly taken off with Davis it is throwing a whole new twist on the drama.
