Most Dangerous NFL Stadium Revealed & It Makes Sense

Violence and crime have become a topic of major concern for NFL fans all over the country as a new report was released by Sportsbook Review revealing alarming numbers behind the fan conduct at stadiums across America. The findings of the survey conducted by the company on about 3,200 American football fans paint a concerning picture of the current situation.

The survey revealed that 39 percent of NFL fans have witnessed a crime at a game, with more than 7 percent admitting to being victims themselves. This comes as a startling revelation as fan violence and misconduct continue to rise in stadiums across the United States. It was further revealed that the most common crime witnessed by fans is physical violence.

The report also looked specifically into the stadiums with the highest rates of reported crimes, with Lincoln Financial Field – home of the Philadelphia Eagles – topping the list at 63 percent. Other stadiums with high rates of reported crimes include AT&T Stadium (Dallas Cowboys), Gillette Stadium (New England Patriots), MetLife Stadium (New York Giants and New York Jets), and Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Furthermore, 13 percent of fans at AT&T Stadium claim to have been targeted as victims of crime, with verbal harassment being the most common complaint. This poses a serious concern for the safety and security of fans at these stadiums.

The demographics of the survey also revealed disturbing results. Over 44 percent of women said they do not feel safe alone at their own team’s stadium, while 51 percent of men expressed a similar concern about leaving a female family member or partner by themselves at a home game. In fact, the worst stadium for these reports was Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, where 73 percent of both men and women stated that they would not be comfortable leaving female fans alone.

Children’s safety at stadiums also came into question, as over 77 percent of parents said they would not feel comfortable letting their children attend games alone at their team’s home stadium. This was particularly concerning for Colts fans as the survey found that 98 percent of fans at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, do not feel safe leaving their kids alone there.

The report also shed light on the perception of opposing fans, with the majority stating they would feel the most unsafe in Philadelphia, followed by Cleveland, Chicago, Dallas, and Las Vegas.

With these alarming numbers, it is clear that more needs to be done to ensure the safety and security of fans at NFL stadiums. It is important for teams and stadium authorities to take necessary measures to prevent fan violence and create a safe environment for all attendees. The safety of fans, especially women and children, should be a top priority and action must be taken to address these concerns. Only then can we truly enjoy the game and the electric atmosphere of a live football match without fear.
